| Upon arriving at Caribbean SmileMakers you will be asked to provide some general and medical information. Following this, one of our staff will take some pictures of you so that Dr. Armogan can discuss your concerns and your need for orthodontic treatment. Questions such as, "Is there an orthodontic problem?" and, "If so, what is it and what can be done to correct the problem?" will be answered. We call this appointment the screening appointment and this usually takes 30 minutes.
If Dr. Armogan finds that you would benefit from some type of orthodontic treatment he would recommend that you have orthodontic records taken. These consist of x-rays and molds of your teeth. These will then be analyzed to determine the best treatment for your unique needs with regards to your specific skeletal structure and patterns of growth. This appointment usually takes half an hour.
The next step is a consultation with Dr. Armogan for which there is no charge. At this visit Dr. Armogan will discuss all of your treatment options and the pros and cons of each specific treatment. At this appointment specific fees and payment options will be given for each of the options. If the appointments are for your child, they will have to be present for the screening and records, but do not have to be present for the consultation.
